STAY DEAD is a fast-paced action game set in the tropical island of Porto Morto, where you and your family, the Rottingtons, are living your best afterlife—no jobs, no taxes, no pulse, no problems. That is, until C.A.R.E. (Curing Authority of Renegade Entities) sends in an army of Cure Bots to “fix” you, forcibly turning zombies back into humans in the name of public safety. But you don’t need fixing—being dead is the best thing that ever happened to you.
Now, it’s up to you to fight back, rescue your family, and use their special abilities to take down C.A.R.E. before they erase zombie-kind for good. Along the way, you’ll restore your town, rally your undead neighbors, and prove that zombies aren’t just surviving—they’re thriving.

Stay Dead started as a team creative session quickly spiraled into something way bigger (and deadlier) than we ever expected. What began as a fun, no-pressure exercise turned into a bold, genre-bending concept that redefined what we, as storytellers and artists, could create. Realizing we had something too good to let rot, we bootstrapped the project and went all in. Stay Dead isn’t just a game—it’s a testament to creative chaos, a team-driven blend of narrative, mechanics, and world-building that mixes innovation with humor, heart, and just the right amount of undead nonsense.
